How it Works

Inside a vacuum encapsulation, a flywheel spins at speeds of up to 9,750 rpm. When the boat rolls, the gyro tilts fore and aft (precesses), producing a powerful gyroscopic torque to port and starboard.

Seakeeper is a computer controlled gyroscope that eliminates most boat roll, including the fatigue, anxiety, and seasickness that go with it.

LIGHTWEIGHT

Typically, the Seakeeper weighs between 2% – 4% of boat weight, half or less the power of air conditioning, and fits in available space in the back half of the boat.

FLEXIBLE

Our models can accommodate boats over 30′. They can be installed virtually anywhere on board. This flexibility means that approximately 25% of the units we ship are installed aftermarket.

Furthermore, it can be installed virtually anywhere on board.

It uses leading-edge technology to provide fully automatic operation and the systems feature a 7” full-color touch screen that provides an intuitive interface between the user and the system. The Legend LX offers one-touch operation and continuous monitoring to maximize product water production and quality.

Available capacities range from 2,100 GPD to 3,400 GPD (7,950 LPD to 12,870 LPD)
The Blue Water Explorer LX series of watermakers offers semi-automatic operation in a wide range of capacities to fit the needs of most large yachts and commercial vessels. The system is operated by traditional switches and a manually adjusted back pressure regulating valve. The electronic controller automatically diverts product water to the storage tank and an LCD display indicates product water salinity and system status. The Explorer LX series includes a Fresh Water Flush system as standard.

Express ClearMate

Developing Ultra-Pure Water from Seawater or Dock Water
The new for 2020 Blue Water Desalination Express ClearMate combines two of Blue Water Desalination’s efficient watermaker systems into one convenient package. Using the same leading-edge technology as the popular Express Series, you can now produce ultra-pure water from either seawater or dock water with the touch of a button. This system is available in several different configurations and production outputs to best meet our customer’s needs. Rated production from seawater ranges from 750 to 1,800 GPD (2,480 LPD to 6,810 LPD) and from 1,000 to 2,600 GPD (3,785 LPD to 9,840 LPD) from dock water.

Available capacities range from 475 GPD to 1850 GPD (1,800 LPD to 7,000 LPD)

The Blue Water Legend series uses leading-edge technology to provide fully automatic operation. The systems feature a 7” full-color touch screen that provides an intuitive interface between the user and the system. The main screen allows for one-touch start and stop functions while the proprietary software continuously monitors and adjusts the system to maximize water production and quality.

Explorer XT Series

Available capacities range from 475 GPD to 1,800 GPD (1,800 LPD to 6,810 LPD)

The Blue Water Desalination Explorer XT series watermakers feature fully automatic operation with capacities up to 75 gallons per hour (284 liters per hour). The Explorer XT is a robust, expandable system designed for mid-sized to large yachts. Three different configurations ensure that the installation can be customized to fit almost any available space.

These units were designed to fit into the tight spaces of small and mid-sized yachts. The one-touch operation makes the EXPRESS XT series ideal for applications where it is difficult to access the watermaker while the vessel is underway.

Available capacities range from 200 GPD to 600 GPD (760 LPD to 2,270 LPD)

The Blue Water Express XT DC series watermakers feature automatic operation with capacities up to 25 gallons per hour (95 liters per hour). Designed to fit into tight spaces of small and mid-sized yachts, the Express XT DC is ideal for applications in today’s cruising yachts that rely solely on DC power while away from the marina.

Blue Water’s new ClearMate fresh water reverse osmosis system utilizes the same technology as the Blue Water Desalination seawater reverse osmosis systems to provide ultra-pure water. The ClearMate softens the feed water and removes up to 99% of the remaining dissolved solids to allow for spot-free rinsing of your yacht. Our ClearMate models can provide up to 2,800 Gallons per Day (10,600 LPD) of Ultra-Pure water.
